19th Annual Writing Contest

Deadline:  February 28, 2015

Categories:

• Fiction: Up to 2,000 words per entry
• Nonfiction: Up to 2,000 words per entry

• Fee per entry: $15 for members; $20 for nons
• Prizes:  1st - $100.  2nd - $50.  3rd - $25. And all prize winners will be published in the 2015 NSWA Anthology.

Contest details:

• Blind judging in effect.
• Winners will be presented at the 2015 North Shore Writer’s Festival on Saturday, April 18

Our mission is to provide a forum in which North Shore writers, both aspiring and successful, can network and support each other in their pursuit of the literary arts.

• 8 monthly general meetings a year, most with guest speakers

• 9 monthly Literary Salons a year

• An annual writing contest

• Publication of our annual anthology

• Partners with the North Vancouver City Library in the Local Author Series

• Presenters at the annual North Shore Writers’ Festival

• Presenters at Harmony Arts Festival
